In February, Vernon Elementary participated in helping raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. All Week students brought in pocket change. Monday - pennies, Tuesday - nickels, Wednesday - dimes, Thursday - quarters, and Friday - everything. We raised over $350.00. Vernon Elementary made the Top 5 Per Capita Schools in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Fund Raiser. Good job Students and staff

The next Tooele Community Closet is scheduled for Saturday, August 5th at Tooele Jr. High. Cities within Tooele County will be holding clothing drives to get ready for the back-to-school event.
